the CERES Lodge, Arrifana
Our interim accommodation, until
our bespoke field centre has been built, is situated in Arrifana,
near Aljezur. The charming and
comfortable villa with garden, wood burner, presentation
facilities and internet access is centrally located between our terrestrial
reserve and the beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo. Several cafes and restaurants for the vital ´
bica´
in the morning are just around the corner.

The CERES Lodge has six bedrooms, four
bathrooms and one large open plan kitchen and social area. The three larger
dorms are fitted out with bunk beds to accommodate three-four people per room. There are two en-suite single bedrooms for staff to aid privacy. Fresh bed linen
and towels are provided. |

The large lecturing room area has multimedia facilities, including a projector, computer, sound system and fast wireless Internet. The kitchen is fully
equipped with fridge freezer, gas stove and oven, and
coffee maker. A washing machine and ironing board is also available.The living room provides a large sofa and three self made large wooden tables.

Comfy beanbags, sofas and an outdoor terrace littered with deck chairs
invite you to sample our small,
but sophisticated library, and read up on tomorrow’s
topic. A barbeque area, the garden, a dart board, table tennis and a small football pitch provide a good set up for
the obligatory after-work party. |
